Exmoor National Park is mainly in Somerset with a small area inside Devon. A beautiful place with a harsh climate of mist, cloud and rain. On the days when the skies are clear there is no better place on earth to be. The massive blue skies are complemented by the rolling landscape that contains bracken, marshland, gorse and heather and has deep valleys, or combes, with flowing rivers and rapid streams. The pastoral countryside meets the sea in many picturesque towns and villages.

Sheep, cows and wild Exmoor ponies can be seen all over the moors along with many birds of prey and red deer.

It is a photographer paradise; photos can be taken anywhere, with the option of countryside or seaside vistas.
